At the age of 17, however, Efva was discovered by the legendary Eileen Ford, founder of Ford Models Model Agency. Thus began a 12-year modelling career, with prestigious assignments for customers like Vogue and Fendi.
In 1981, Efva went on to form the pop group X-models, receiving two gold records for the hit song ‘Two of Us’ which she composed and wrote the lyrics for. At this point, Efva was also designing clothes for companies like Levi’s and H&M.
It was a few years later, in 1996, that Efva returned to jewellery design. She opened her first combined boutique and studio in Hornsgatan in the southern part of central Stockholm, with her pieces quickly becoming must-have items.
Many famous faces have since been spotted wearing Efva Attling jewellery, including Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jennifer Aniston, Meryl Streep, Uma Thurman, Angelina Jolie, and Katy Perry.
