Founded in Sweden in 1996, Lagerhaus now owns and operates a total of 44 stores across both Sweden and Norway. The popular interior design store also runs an extremely successful online store, shipping items to Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

The chain currently offers a wide range of affordable and smart products for home and parties, such as interior details, storage products, glassware, crockery, gift bags, wrapping products, party items and much more.

Lagerhaus wants to help its customers create personal, cozy homes and inspire joy in everyday life. Most of the range consists of wonderful in-house designs, which are created by Lagerhaus’ creative design team in Gothenburg.

Simplifying the exploration of their grand assortment is what drew the Lagerhaus team, and their talented design agency Welcom, to Findify – their new search, merchandising, and personalization solution.

Following a close collaboration with Welcom, and some fantastic work from their skilled technical and design teams, all Findify solutions are now running on Lagerhaus’ online site, which runs on Jetshop’s quick and powerful SPA solution Flight

How does Site Search and Personalization software improve the ecommerce experience?

With the Personalized Search ecommerce tool, there are two aspects – search accuracy, and personalization.

Accuracy is about precision and recall – making the search as smart as possible so that it can return relevant results to the shopper putting in the query. This includes an autocomplete, predicting what they will type as they’re typing, meaning fewer keystrokes for the user.

Other aspects include Natural Language Processing – the search being able to tell the difference between products and attributes.

An effective search should also include spelling tolerance, ensuring shoppers get relevant results even if they make a typo, and a zero results workaround – ensuring relevant products come up even if the exact query searched for is not present.

Personalization, then, is all about the AI algorithm which analyzes the behavior of the shopper and learns, in real time, what their preferences are – search results are ranked in order of preference. So, if the algorithm learns the shopper frequently needs led lights, or has a preference for a certain color, this is what they will see more of.

Findify’s Smart Collections solution, meanwhile, includes personalized product ranking, dynamic filters, and the ability to create merchandising rules.

It is possible to customize almost every aspect of the solution: product card look and layout, information contained on product card, layout of the filters, the filtering options and color swatches, and much more.

It is also possible to integrate with other complementing solutions here (and, indeed, across all three Findify solutions) such as wishlist functionality, badges & reviews – while at the same time keeping the solution running at a lightning fast pace.

Finally, the Recommendations solution identifies ‘Hot Sellers’, ‘Recently Viewed Items’, ‘Frequently Bought Together’, ‘Customers Who Viewed This Ultimately Bought’, and ‘Newest Products’. This reliable ecommerce tool allows retailers to maximize their online store’s upsell and cross-sell capabilities without having to manually curate the products shown.

The full suite also includes advanced analytics, which enables merchants to better understand the behavior of their shoppers by giving them access to extremely valuable, trustworthy, and actionable, insights.

Findify CEO welcomes both Lagerhaus and Welcom to the Findify client family

CEO of Findify, Philip Nobel, welcomed Lagerhaus to the Findify enterprise client family, a development which serves to further solidify Findify’s place as a leading provider of search and personalization solutions for both Swedish clients as well as merchants operating on the Jetshop platform.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Lagerhaus into the fold. It’s a great brand with a commendable focus on detail, quality, and good design – in both the items they sell as well as the solutions they employ. And this is our very first shared client with Welcom, which is also exciting,” he said.

“We are also, of course, very happy to add another Jetshop client to our portfolio. As the leading ecommerce platform in our home base of the Nordics, Jetshop is a huge focus for us and every new client we onboard in a Jetshop environment is cause for celebration.”
