Fashion retailer Black Halo integrates Findify’s Personalized Search and Smart Collections for Shopify

Premium clothing retailer Black Halo is adored by fashionistas all across the globe, with a star-studded fan base that includes Meghan Markle, Kim Kardashian, Blake Lively, and Tyra Banks. 

What’s more, the LA-based Black Halo, which works with top commerce agency BVA, has arguably transformed the way the modern-day woman dresses, thanks to the iconic Jackie O dress. 

Known for its versatility and ability to enhance a woman’s figure, this piece laid the foundation for the brand’s success as a leader in the contemporary dress market. 

Other pieces, created by Founder and Creative Director of Black Halo, Laurel Berman, also utilize architectural designs, while the brand has recently added a cocktail and evening wear collection. 

The next step in Black Halo’s fashion-forward journey lies in their integration with leading site search and personalization company Findify. 

Findify uses AI algorithms to change the order in which each individual shopper sees each product. This helps ecommerce merchants increase revenue, boost conversion, optimize speed, and improve UX.

Following the recent integration, which saw BVA experts working in close collaboration with Findify, two Findify solutions are now live on the fashion site. 

The Personalized Search solution means Black Halo customers will now be able to find their preferred items quicker and easier. The Smart Collections solution, meanwhile, includes personalized product ranking, dynamic filters, and the ability to create merchandising rules. 

CEO of Findify, Phillip Nobel, said he was delighted to welcome Black Halo to the Findify client family. 

“It really is a fantastic brand, with an extremely talented and driven founder. We’re so glad to have them with us, another BVA-backed retailer, and look forward to working with them,” he said. 

“We are very strong on the west coast right now, which is fantastic, and feels like a natural result of our increased US presence. North America as a whole is strong, and getting stronger, for us.”

What’s the key to such success? According to the Swedish-based CEO, it’s expansion – clever, brave, and well executed expansion. 

“Yes, we’re expanding at a very steady pace, making new hires and continuing our groundbreaking work with Artificial Intelligence. This is an extremely exciting time for the company,” he said. 

“We have a lot of new developments in the pipeline also. It’s not something I can reveal just yet… but big news is coming and we’ll be able to talk about it very soon, so stay tuned.”
